NEW Features :

Rearrangement of elements labels

With StaaDXF you'll get labels of beams and shell elements written in local X-axis direction, in one of main local plane, XOY or XOZ. This will help you to understand the model better and maybe to change some orientations, passed through previous checks. There is possibility to modify text size, and so to avoid well known situation of labels overlapping. Above mentioned advantages will help you to finish technical documentation faster. It is well visible in the example of modified labels in Examp01.dxf file exported from STAAD/PRO.

Example 1

Layout of original Examp01.dxf exported from STAAD/Pro

Layout of modified Examp01.dxf with StaaDXF.

The labels, you see as in mirror, indicate that they are readable from -Z screen direction.

You can control space models much easier in isometric view. By changing text plane you can fully understand orientations of your model. Next example shows layout of space beams structure with text in XOY and XOZ local plane. To compare, original layout is added.

Example 2

Example 3

For shell elements, modified labels will help you to easily follow direction of section forces. Inversed normals are well visible and offer you additional control. You can see it from the following example:
